Sending domain (Pro)

On Mia Pro, mail to your customers can come from a domain you own. Until that domain is verified, it goes out from mia.store, with your name.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Sender and add a subdomain, for example mail.studio.ro. Gmail, Yahoo, and other free-mail domains are blocked.
  2. Copy the rows in the table: DKIM (TXT), SPF (TXT on the send host), and Return-Path (MX on that same host, with the priority shown).
  3. Paste the values exactly at your registrar. On Cloudflare, leave the cloud grey, not orange.
  4. Press Check DNS. Mia asks the mail provider about once a minute. Propagation can take up to 24 hours.
  5. When the status is Verified, choose the part before @, for example hello, and the display name.

If it is not verified

An unverified domain is never used. Mail stays on mia.store. You can remove the domain any time and go back to the Mia sender.

You get one sending domain per store.

DMARC

Also add a _dmarc TXT with the value v=DMARC1; p=none. That is advice. Mia does not check it. After a few clean weeks you can move toward quarantine.
